@rainer #Nextcloud bietet da meines Wissens kein Bordmittel an. In Thunderbird könntest du Termine nach Stichwort selektieren, alle auswählen und löschen. In anderen Kalender-Apps ist so etwas ggf. auch möglich.

Si vous manquez d'espace disque pour synchroniser vos fichiers #nextcloud ou autre vous pouvez toujours utiliser WebDav pour rendre vos fichiers disponibles sur votre PC (avec une connexion internet uniquement), dans ce cas il faut utiliser un mot de passe d'application, plutôt que votre mot de passe utilisateur.

Does anyone have any experience using nextcloud talk for video conferencing? I used it a long time ago and it was rubbish. our charity has a self hosted nextcloud instance on a hetzner CX33 machine. It has 4 vcpu and 8 GB of RAM. Would it work? I want to get my colleagues to stop using Zoom, but if nextcloud talk on that spec is glitchy it will set back my cause.

Nextcloud Talk is pretty decent, but GIF files didn't play in the chat view, so I added that functionality: https://github.com/nextcloud/talk-android/pull/5969
While digging through the code & testing this, I found a lot of issues with image display. It seems like all of them have been reported, but they're stuck in a rewrite before any of it can be addressed, which is a bummer.
There are over 50 outstanding PRs 😵💫.

I think I'm giving up on this install of Yuno Host. Too many things have gone wrong during my leading bash etc.
A friend wants me to try Proxmox, so I'll do that. Another potential one is Freedombox.

I'd love if there was one that sat on top of a regular distro of Linux with a GUI. I think that'd really help me. Haven't found one yet though.
hmmm, #nextcloud and #collabora moved to #OpenShift, everything but file deletion works. Any ideas why would it fail? Debug logs say nothing, just brief flash on browser saying deletion failed. Data is on nfs, new file creation works, edit works, but delete fails. I have rescanned the files with occ, no repairs was needed.

Wollte zwar da heute einige Tests durchlaufen lassen, aber nun mach ich erstmal was anderes ^^
Jeder (Self-)Hoster kennt diesen Moment:
Update klicken, kurz die Luft anhalten und hoffen, dass nicht wieder PHP, Datenbank oder Desktop-Client beschließen, heute kreativ zu werden.
Nach Jahren mit Nextcloud habe ich 2026 für meinen eigenen Usecase die Reißleine gezogen. Nicht aus Dogmatismus. Sondern weil digitale Souveränität für mich am besten funktioniert, wenn Infrastruktur wieder ein bisschen langweilig wird.
Darum bin ich bei #OpenCloud gelandet.
Schlanker, fokussierter, weniger bewegliche Teile. Kein PHP. Keine Datenbank. Go-basiert, unter 200 MB RAM im Idle. Auf K3s mit ZFS-Snapshots dahinter läuft das sehr viel näher an „funktioniert“ als an „braucht Aufmerksamkeit“.
Und dahinter steckt das Team von #mailbox.org, #Heinlein Support. Kein US-Risikokapital, kein Exit-Druck. Keine fragwürdige Eigentümerstruktur. Einfach Leute, die seit 30 Jahren für datenschutzkonforme Infrastruktur in Deutschland kämpfen. Das ist kein Zufall, das ist eine Entscheidung.
Der schönste Nebeneffekt:
OpenCloud wurde bei mir quasi nebenbei zur souveränen E-Book-Bibliothek. DRM-freie EPUBs auf dem Boox Go 7, ohne Amazon-Ökosystem, ohne Plattform-Lock-in, ohne das übliche „wir kennen deinen Geschmack besser als du selbst“.
Amazon weiß sehr genau, was du liest, wann du liest, wie schnell du liest und wo du aufgehört hast. Das ist keine Paranoia. Das steht in deren AGB.
Genau da wird digitale Souveränität sehr konkret:
nicht als politische Folie, sondern als gelebter Alltag.
Eigene Dateien - eigene Infrastruktur - eigene Regeln - eigene Verantwortung.
Wie der Umzug lief, wo die kleinen HTTPS-/Traefik-Fallen lagen und warum weniger Komplexität manchmal der eigentliche Fortschritt ist:

Looks like E2EE in #nextcloud is broken again... C'mon!
phuk. I was moving my #nextcloud container to SNO #OpenShift, but run into login loop. Nothing in the log even if debug is enabled. Config is from the same disk, now with nfs. UIDs match. What could cause the login loop? Also status.php just gives 400. Login page does not progress to 2fa, just back to login.
EDIT: works now. It was the http_check of opnsense haproxy. Pheew. Tomorrow collabora.
Nutzt hier jemand die managed #Nextcloud von Ionos? Hat man da ein Perfomance-Backend (oder wie sich das auch immer schimpft) für Talk, so dass man auch mit 25 Personen VKs durchführen kann?
