Nu har jeg lavet lidt tests og umiddelbart vinder #immich på ansigts genkendelse og på brugerinterface. Plus det er ret sejt at det har support for flere konti. Men jeg mangler en metode at synkronisere billeder fra en PC. #Photoprism har WebDAV, hvilket er ret smart, men også lidt manuelt. Men man kunne godt lave et workflow hvor man altid importerer billeder fra sit kamera i "import" mappen. Så sørger den automatisk for at placere dem korrekt. Alternativt må jeg have #nextcloud i gang også...

Elle est chouette l'application #Iotas comme client desktop de #Nextcloud #Notes. Bien plus sobre que #QOwnNotes ! Et elle utilise l'API native de Notes, donc pas besoin d'installer une appli tierce sur le serveur…

#Nextcloud hat gestern 20 CVEs veröffentlicht. Alles Low bis Moderate. Das meiste wurde bereits stillschweigend gepatcht (mit Ausnahme von CVE-2025-66512?). Wer also noch viele ausstehende Updates hat, sollte die Update-Strategie überdenken.

La cosa che trovo bella è che rimettere in piena operatività il cellulare con la nuova installazione dura pochissimo tempo. Senza backup e niente perché uso #nextcloud e von applistbackup faccio tornare le app e tutto fatto

Jeśli nie stawiasz swojego mobilizona, możesz założyć profile na Mobilizon.pl i tam importować.

#Gancio jest lżejsze i jeśli możesz go postawić, to miałbyś we własnej domenie. Kooperatywa @koop również może hostować Gancio dla Ciebie w twojej domenie. Gancio ma wbudowaną funkcjonalność importowania eventów z .ics i h-event)

W obu przypadkach masz konta do eventów i ich podstrony.

I can't decide whether I want to keep this #NextCloud. While I like the general idea, the Windows Desktop client still has a bunch of unlabeled buttons, you don't seem to be able to just simply copy a public share URL from the context menu like with other solutions, and so on. I hear some blind people using it despite that. Are there any tweaks / #NVDA Add-Ons or anything else I could do to make it more accessible? Yes I could try and open GH issues but honestly the way how they treated the issue about the removal of the copy public link context menu thing makes me doubt anything productive will come out.

So, jetzt läuft das Backend für das #Nextcloud Whiteboard, aber so genau verstanden, wozu die da ist, habe ich noch nicht ;)

@thatdnaguy #syncthing is awesome and actually syncs whatever you tell it. I like seafile-server and client myself. You could also just use rsync and tar and ssh. Lots of options out there. #nextcloud syncs also. I like OMV (openmediavault) and docker seafile-server.

PSA: If you use #Nextcloud, make sure to update to the latest server and app versions. They published a bunch of CVEs.

Wow. My #NextCloud instance on @Pikapods was created 4 years ago.
I noticed that just now when taking a look at a low storage notice. I don't remember any major issues with my PikaPods that weren't my own fault. (Thanks PikaPods for helping me clean that up, btw!)

Feels like there should be a "Disable AppAPI" option in #NextCloud. Because the docs seem to be talking about Docker and HaRP.

I'm on a Raspberry Pi running a single-user instance. I'm not going to use that stuff. And yet now I have a big red "X" in my setup warnings list 🙄

Ich betreibe ja die #Nextcloud für einen Kunden. Nur leider könnte ich mir das alles auch sparen, weil die Nextcloud wird zwar als Speicherort genutzt, aber die anderen Apps, die installiert sind und auch funktionieren, werden halt immer durch irgendwas Externes ersetzt. Talk zum Beispiel. HBE-Backend ist eingerichtet, Videocalls gehen problemlos, eingesetzt wird immer noch ZOOM.

Das gilt auch für andere Apps und nach fünf Jahren muss ich dann bedauerlicherweise sagen, dass das Projekt eigentlich gescheitert ist. Vielleicht suche ich mir einen anderen Kunden, mit dem ich das noch einmal versuche.
