Der Proxmox Backup Server läuft jetzt ziemlich zuverlässig.

Also habe ich jetzt backrest abgerissen und den Storage an den #Proxmox Backup Server umgehangen.
Derzeit synced the temporäre Backup Storage auf die umgehangene Disk.

Statt RAID-Systeme aufzubauen, habe ich vor, einfach einzelne Disks zu nutzen und die Inhalte dann zu syncen.

Vorteil: Ich kann auf diese Weise jederzeit eine Disk einfach abhängen und an einen anderen PBS kleben.

Oder gibt es gute Gründe, die dagegen sprechen würden?

Kann man direkt auf der Maschine, auf welcher ProxmoxVE mit seinen virtuellen Maschinen läuft, auch "dafür sorgen" via eines Browsers auf die Proxmox GUI und damit auf die VM's zuzugreifen, direkt lokal sozusagen, NICHT über das Netzwerk, wie üblich/ normalerweise... (Stichwort: "Missbrauch" als eine Art "Qubes OS") ...

Had my bad moments to get it work with #Proxmox and #HASSOS in the VM, but after the first struggles it is just doing, what it should.

It looks like they decided to give themselves defunct DNS servers to link to. I had to go into every container .conf to give them the proper dns to get them back online. Why? Alright, migration completed, replaced #proxmox by #freebsd 15 using bhyve for the vms, sharing #zfs pools via nfs where I need. Only missing piece is setting up samba shares for backups and copying media files. Every app is already running under #docker in a #debian vm. I also have to setup the cronjobs for replication and backups, but I will leave that for the weekend. #homelab life
