I think the most enraging thing about trying to talk to doctors about EBV and reactivated EBV is that they insist that there’s no point in testing for these things because everybody has it. I didn’t get EBV until I was 31 years old, so no everybody doesn’t have it until you actually infect them with it.

They do the same thing with covid. “No point in preventing it, everyone had had it.” No we fucking have not. And it’s extra weird to see sciencey people insist that us #novids are in denial and we all had asymptomatic cases already. Not us “already sick” people. I would know, if I talk on the phone too long I crash for 24-72 hours yet these idiots think I would get a whole entire airborne AIDS infection and not know it?
