Disney just posted this Mickey video about Norooz. I think this is the first time in my life I’m seeing the holiday representing in a big western media context.
In any case — honestly, I’m happy. Other than my direct family, there wasn’t anyone around me that celebrated, so it’s great to see the representation. My toddler loves Mickey and this was a great way to capture her attention.
