I caught youngest, who is also off sick from school, on a 2nd hour of mobile phone viewing YouTube shorts.

I suggested that a game with my husband while I sleep would be a good alternative to screen time.and now the joyous whooping of kid and husband playing jenga is stopping me sleeping...

I was supposed to be attending the #ChangingArctic meeting again today but alas I've come down with the cold that has been hanging around the family at home for the last week or so.
I'm soon to depart on fieldwork so *really* want this bout of illness to be over and done quickly.

Unfortunately, there's no online option as it was an excellent meeting yesterday.
