back when del.icio.us was killed, instead of whining i decided to write my own self-hosted #bookmarking service,called #omnom. from day1 it supported in-browser snapshotting of what-i-saw-is-what-i-bookmark. a few of people were using it, we collected 1000s of #snapshots, the browser extension bitrotted. i gave up. my friend asciimoo took over and rewrote the whole thing and the extensions. omnom lives on! try it out: https://github.com/asciimoo/omnom
