With the #Oscars coming up in a couple of days, I took a look at the resullts in the 3 other major awards shows -- Golden Globes (GG), British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA) & Screen Actors Guild (SAG) to see what the results of the Oscars might be:

Likely:

Jessie Buckley for Best Actress (GG, BAFTA & SAG)
Sean Penn for Best Supporting Actor (BAFTA & SAG)

Toss Ups:

Best Picture (GG - Hamnet & Battle; BAFTA -Battle; SAG -Sinners)
Best Actor (no one won it in more than 1x in GG, BAFTA & SAG)

I prefer Sinners over Battle for Best Picture & the Best Director award generally goes to the director of the Best Picture.

If that follows, then Coogler should win Best Director for Sinners over Anderson for Battle.

I also liked Jordan better in Sinners than Chalamet in Marty Supreme. So, I hope that Jordan wins for Best Actor.

I have no preference for who wins for Best Supporting Actress.

We'll soon see who wins or not . . . 🤷‍♂️
