Extreme saturation:

If for whatever reasons you are aiming for extreme saturation, you can just directly use the binder base and mix it with mica as you paint. This is risky though, because the end product might flake, and also pigment might end up stain in wrong places.

Pan:
There are no real recipe because each powder pigment/mica behave differently. Aim thin paste texture. Test until it won't rub off nor will flake when paper is bent. Don't worry if it's a bit imprecise: as long as it's not overly extreme, it will dry with about 30% shrinkage, you can just keep on filling. With metallic/shifting sometimes the pan looks less impressive, but functionally it won't make differences.

Binder base:

6 tablespoons of gum arabia powder
12 tablespoons of boiling water
1 tablespoon of honey/glycerin

Mix them together until all gum arabia is dissolved.
Filter through a few layers of gauze.
Mix before each use.

You can't see the two tone well, you just have to trust me that it's working out quite well.
