It looks like it's going to be one of those intense weeks in all fronts, both at work & personal life, never mind the crazy world we inhabit, so I thought I'd share a moment of peace and quiet, from my favourite park in town, i.e. Parque de la Paz (Peace Park) showing a bunch of Royal Cuban Palm trees with a mix of red oleanders on the right side of the capture in the midst of a gorgeous blue sky. I don't know why, but every time I see one of these trees in the city getting trimmed with these extreme haircuts, I always wonder whether they like their new look or whether they, too, feel it's insufferable to the point of uttering "Oh, gosh, never mind, it will grow again in a few weeks and we will go back to ... normal" 😳🤯

Anyway, here's a snap shot of a tree recently trimmed down with some funny rounded shapes, with a bunch of palm trees on the left side and some other trees on the right, while the grass is showing green and exuberant.

Of all places, at Parque de la Paz (Peace Park) in Campo Internacional, near Playa del Inglés.

Anyone else getting Tim Burton's vibes here? 😍👍🏻

This is perhaps my favourite park in the south of the island: Parque de la Paz is (Peace Park). Rather accessible, never too crowded, plenty of palm trees surrounded by other kinds of trees, a water theme park (on the right of this snap shot), along with an exuberant lush of green that gets me every single time I go there for a walk. I can spend hours and hours in there doing absolutely nothing other than earthing big time into oblivion by myself 😍👍🏻 heh

Is there anything more evocative than chillaxing, right in the heart of the summer, under the shade of a bunch of date palm trees at the "Peace Park" with all of that green lush? Probably not, although I am thinking I'd just need a 🍹 then tell the world to stop for a minute, or two, while I am enjoying meself some peace and quiet 👌🏻😍
