For the span of my whole #phpdeveloper career, plenty of people approached me asking for guiding their career shift. Only one actually became a #programmer.

People love to have a programmer salary, not a programmer job, and think it comes easily. All except that one girl gave up on the first task.

I am still open to requests for guidance (and I do it for free), even though I know how it would end, just for that one of many people who would show motivation.
