I am done with VS Code, codium etc. Too much crap from Microsoft these days. Also trying LibreOffice again. But today it is a change... I think... back to Sublime Text. Still using PHPStorm for all my larger projects. Day to day editing of small projects, text manipulation etc, ST is pretty devent.

#TIL: You can assign single lines to a changelist in #phpstorm. I often use a changelist "do not commit" for temporary changes. This is useful to not accidentally commit something like "it.only" which would run only a specific #Cypress test during development.

it.only( tite: 'Can find and order in the customer order history after having placed an order' + getStoreCodeSuffix(), config: ()) highlighted and assigned to the change list "do not commit" via the small changelist icon.

Of course, if there is any #ai plugin for #jetbrains, there are also bugs, bugs, bugs, bugs....

Again: writing something for jetbrains seems to be 100 times harder as for vscode 🥴

I have a #PhpStorm plugin that suggests "parametrised" because it's the British spelling and another plugin that suggests"parametrized" because it's the Oxford spelling. Maybe it's the same plugin, I haven't really investigated.

Dear #PhpStorm, WTF is wrong with you? Why would you run background processes occupying all of 12 of my CPU cores without even indicating what these processes are and letting me cancel them? My fan is spinning like crazy. You're sus.

Yet another AI assistant in #PhpStorm... *sigh*
I might be biased, but I have the feeling that general reliability of the whole IDE is not what it used to be. I find myself restarting in the middle of the working day and using the Repair IDE functionality way too often. Maybe JetBrains is doing some dog-fooding with their AI assistants?

AGAIN: #jetbrains is fooling #Windows users once again by NOT mentioning that WSL2 isn’t supported yet in Junie. 🙄

Is it so hurtful to add a simple comment here, so Windows users don’t waste their time trying to use something that is not working ????
