It's always interesting when you open a flight tracker and see a plane doing something STRANGE. This 787 from Boeing Field, Seattle currently looping around out there, specifically right off my coast. A Boeing test flight of some sort, I would guess?

I popped up the site Flight Radar 24 this afternoon, looking to see if there were any interesting airplanes nearby, and happened to click on this little Cessna over Newport, Oregon, a town to the south of me. I quickly realized it wasn't the usual tourist plane, revealed by it's razor sharp north and south flights, connected with very precise turns. I'm sure the tinfoil hat brigade was going crazy if they noticed it.

My spin by Mojave air and Space Port today was a bit of a bust. The mighty Roc was in its hangar, cosmic Girl appears not to have returned yet, and I couldn't even find the Stargazer L-1011. (I came in from the reverse side of my usual path, and I had a bit of trouble navigating, so I might have missed it.) Maybe I'll do better on the way home. Got to show my son the Roton and tell him its crazy story, and he enjoyed the Spaceship One replica.
