New pen day but not exactly a #fountainpen . DSPIAE panel line pen for use detailing models. Dipped it in Robert Oster Crystal Marine and verified its fundamental unsuitability for writing with ink. Didn’t buy it for that, it’s for applying various washes and other materials to subtly alter their look. #plasticmodels

My first time trying to assemble a photo etch detail set. I managed to drop and loose some parts and had to improvise replacements. It's going into an Academy 1:72 kit for an A6M Zero. I tried the same kit as my first foray into model kits as an adult years ago, screwed up the decals, got a second kit, and then for several years have found other projects and acquired accessories like tho photo etch. Now I'm finally going to build it.
