I can DEFINITELY see why people prefer Launcher over the regular interface. Been using it for several weeks now and really like it.

Now, if I subscribed to any LiveTV services I’d probably have a different opinion since GTV integrates live channels so well, in particular YTTV, but I don’t. The “channel rows” for each app showing what’s current popular, and the Now Watching row integrating not only NF but also shows from your personal library, is awesome.

I wonder why Launcher integrates into its “Watch Next” row but doesn’t integrate it into the Continue Watching row?

Projectivy > GoogleTV? Come on. (drums fingers on top of cat’s head and frowns at TV)

I've seen dozens of not hundreds of posts over recent years with people complaining about GoogleTV's or FireTV's "ad-riddled" interfaces. I have so many streaming services that if I didn't have banners telling me what just arrived on service X I'd have no way of ever knowing about it until maybe days or weeks down the line. I for one appreciate these interfaces. Ads sure, but also *news*.

Sometimes “simplifying” things just leaves you in mild ignorance.

Since a month, I changed launcher on my #NVidia #Shield #AndroidTV 2015 (first model): I installed #Projectivy 🤙🏻
It just work as launcher should works: no ad, beautiful, easy to use, well maintained.
To support developer and development, I subscribed to full version.
You can use it without root your device.
