Nice #graph based #music composition by Matthieu Amiguet in his talk at #pyConDE2024 https://www.matthieuamiguet.ch/blog/PyConDE24
Minutes before I gave my talk about "How to Improve the Python Development Experience for Millions of Ubuntu Users" @pyconde in Berlin.
Thanks a lot to all the attendees for being such a wonderful audience!
"Would you rely on #ChatGPT to dial #911 ?"
One of my todays highlights was the insightful and entertaining talk by Nicolas Guénon des Mesnards at the #pyconde about how to combine deterministic and probabilistic models to boost ML system robustness.
Sadly, the session recording at vimeo does not seem to work for me atm.
I really enjoyed the talk of Inessa Pawson about #opensource projects. It's enlightening to see so many open source enthusiasts on the stage and in the audience.
Second day of #PyDataBerlin, hearing about measuring tree height with satellite imagery
Katherine Jarmul at #pydataberlin: "Sure, humans learn things too, but we don't do it at scale, and surely we don't do it word by word"
THIS
nice start into a week packed with all things Python 🐍 #python #PyconDE2024 #pyconde #pydataberlin #pydata
Full room but the speaker is still missing for the first tutorial for day about Python Metaclasses.
Perhaps have to create the Speaker-Class first. 😂
Attending #pyconde #pyConDE2024 this week in #Berlin, looking forward to the talks! Say hi if you're there, too!
Nice to be back to #pyconde. Thank for all the volunteers which make the conference possible. Thank you very much! #pyconde2024
The live stream of the opening session can be found here:

A small #hackathon for the #pyconDE is hosted by #BlueYonder at:
https://www.kaggle.com/competitions/blueyonder-hackathon-at-pyconpydata-2024/overview
There will be #beer and Blue Yonder goodies for every submission from a PyCon attendee (on-site) and a surprise prize for the winner.
The early checkin for the #PyconDE / #PyDataBerlin starts today from 3PM to 6PM (CEST).
Somehow very crowdy this morning in cologne Main Station.
@jugmac00 This will be interesting. A few years ago I managed to complete break Ubuntu's update process by trying to update Python on my dual boot laptop and that remained unfixed because I couldn't risk losing Windows in a re-install attempt.
While I'm writing this, I'm setting up a spare laptop with 2024.04 LTS beta to bring to #Pyconde2024. I'll see if working with PyCharm and Jupyter is OK for me.
Already preparing for Win10 EOL 2025, which will force me on Linux for most of my hardware.
I am preparing for my trip to #pyconde #pyconde2024 in #berlin where I will speak about "How to Improve the Python Development Experience for Millions of Ubuntu Users". I would love to start a discussion on how make #Ubuntu the best #Python development environment it can be!
Have you experienced papercuts or do you have ideas to improve the experience?

Who will be at PyData Berlin/PyCon Germany next week? ✋🏼
A pity that #PyconDE2024 will *again* be in Berlin. I loved the previous concept of changing the city every two years or so.
