@jugmac00 This will be interesting. A few years ago I managed to complete break Ubuntu's update process by trying to update Python on my dual boot laptop and that remained unfixed because I couldn't risk losing Windows in a re-install attempt.

While I'm writing this, I'm setting up a spare laptop with 2024.04 LTS beta to bring to #Pyconde2024. I'll see if working with PyCharm and Jupyter is OK for me.

Already preparing for Win10 EOL 2025, which will force me on Linux for most of my hardware.

I am preparing for my trip to #pyconde #pyconde2024 in #berlin where I will speak about "How to Improve the Python Development Experience for Millions of Ubuntu Users". I would love to start a discussion on how make #Ubuntu the best #Python development environment it can be!
