The technology exists, even in very dry places, and it's being used by some communities. More adoption of that would be great too. I do wonder what the ecological impact would be.

Hey internet friends. My oldest is a Junior and got their class ring last night. His school had a whole event / ceremony for their class.

I didn't grow up with this at all. One person in my graduating class got a class ring and there was no ceremony, no fanfare, nothing.

Is this a thing others have seen? Ceremonies where class rings are presented?

If you went to High School in the US, did you have a ceremony at school presenting class rings?

@ami_angelwings Me and a friend were playing Final Fantasy 7. He flew to the last fight, while I took my time. Sephiroth beat him easily, for a couple days I made fun of him. Unknown to me he was playing my save and beat Sephiroth easily. He erased my save, 28 years later, he is still taunting me and I have never finished the game.

For me it's Arisa. Or as I put it "Nancy Drew vs Light Yagami, and don't bet on Light"

But the concept of a gangster tomboy going undercover at her twin sister's school to discover why her seemingly perfect twin tried to commit suicide, why the message to her sister called her a "traitor" and who the mysterious "King" is that's granting wishes to the students in horrific ways would make a perfect US/Can drama, especially since the manga doesn't use any Japanese specific school conventions and Western audiences love their school drama/thrillers.

In a US context you can even have Tsubasa be from an urban public school & going undercover in Arisa's private school
