It is amazing to me how often the process of starting to write a StackOverflow question has me finally figure out the problem. A form of #rubberduckdebugging perhaps?

Speaking of ducks, can Mastodon’s text input be considered a rubber duck (programmer’s thing)? I just bashed my head against a problem for a couple of hours, then said fuck it, completely wrote the post with the problem… and then something clicked, and I solved it. 🤦

I wanted to try out my new terracotta PETG from prusament so I printed this cutie. I added fuzzy skin to add a bit of texture.I think it is a very pretty color, albeit a bit too shiny to give it a true terracotta feel.

Molly the owl will now sit on my desk and help me debug my code.

Why does it seem that every single time I have a really complicated problem with a seemingly bizarre cause, I describe it in detail to someone else and then realize the fix just as I finish typing a whole wall of text.

Wow, I just had the weirdest experience:
I had a #CSS problem, I couldn't solve.
Then I _imagined_ that I'd ask it in a forum and _imagined_ someone answering it.

I've taken the imagined answer and it just worked!

That's some kind of #RubberDuckDebugging, but Inception style! :awesome: 😅

and in CLASSIC #rubberduckdebugging moment. The INSTANT I'm not kidding the instant I posted that I realized what I was doing wrong where I was reloading my modules. I wasn't instantiating a new class of the UI I was calling though, just constantly bringing up the old one.
