So in case you missed it, apparently FurAffinity (fess up, we all know of it) suffered a domain hijack this week.
Setting aside the clear sociopolitical motives of the attacker (and the irony in attacking probably the most technologyly skilled non-tech community on the internet - #NoFlyListLeak, anyone?) for the moment, personally I find it more surprising Network Solutions (their webhost) dragged their heels in resolving the matter, taking about two days to to bring the site down. Have to wonder if it was deliberate indifference due to the nature of FA, or if suggests a larger issue with host response to attacks like this against non-corporate entities.
