Another interesting effect is that almost everyone on the #statepension will 😀 fill in a self-assessment form for tax since the triple locked pension will exceed the personal allowance.. The form includes their national insurance number. As it happens a national insurance number is now required when applying to vote by post - an application which lapses and would have to be renewed every three years. So fiscal drag will support postal voting and reduce #votersuppression !
