I couldn’t quite believe it when I read this. A company charges over £29,000 for something only worth £5,000, and replies “Well, it’s business isn’t it?” when the customer complains.

So pleased with how my cheap plants from Lidl have done. The Bougainvillea are going over now, but the geraniums should see me right through September if I keep on top of the dead heading.

Been absolutely torrential today, interspersed with spells of glorious sunshine. Overall though water levels rising and the path outside Josie is under water. All that said, got my steps in, achieved my heart points for the week, had a lovely brunch out and bought some new towels. A good Friday in anyone's book. Pax!

Without any need for persuasion, the very nice Adam from Whitelegg Upholstery is going to be renovating and recovering @josieatthecoast fixed seating in this lovely shade of blue over the next few weeks. I'm having the seat cushions completely replaced, and everything else and the kickboards recovered. Hopefully this will see Josie looking fresher, but also have her a bit for comfortable for the next few years!

Due to rotten weather, I stayed in today and cracked on with the redecorating. Didn't plan my time very well so will be sleeping on this sliver of bed tonight. It will however be worth it! The repainting of every room is just about complete, with a feature wall of Aegean blue, and the rest of the walls Potters Clay. It's given Josie a completely fresh feel and dealt with the faded walls. For ten years old, this girl will give the 2022 models a run for their money.
Assuming we don't get blown away tonight!

Had confirmation today that Josie will be moving pitch in the Autumn for site improvement work. I'll be sad to leave Willow Rise, but excited for a new location on the park too. It's going to be very strange having a different view outside the same inside!

Good afternoon from Thaxted. I'm home! Three hours driving today with my flit to #Felixstowe and back.
My mission was mostly successful, and Josie the #StaticCaravan is just about ready for #winter. The #Floe install was easier than I thought - people I installed a #stopcock- but the drain down didn't go to plan, as there is an air leak. I've tracked it to the cistern and will return with spare parts next weekend. Perhaps I should buy #dungarees also?
