I participated in a research study to assess barriers trans and non-binary people face when managing their menstruation from the Columbia University Mailman School of Health. They have released the final version of a brief, 3 page document of “Recommendations for Providing Respectful Menstruation-Related Care to Transgender and Gender Non-Binary Patient Populations” to provide guidance to healthcare professionals. I received a PDF of this document today, please let me know if you would like a copy of it or if you know healthcare providers who this information would be useful to, and I can direct the researchers to connect with them for more details. This may also be useful to those advocating for practices in the workplace.
You can find the paper for this study, "Improving menstrual equity in the USA: perspectives from trans and non-binary people assigned female at birth and health care providers" here: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/13691058.2021.1957151
