Don't take this map too seriously since I made it on a whim just to give me a good glance on two issues - which countries allow self-id, which allow opt-in third gender for all available genders and which have both. Mostly from skimming wikipedia. Some caveats, like US & Canada are only at federal level, for passports. Other documents depend on state or province.
This is new to me. Undifferentiated? According to some dictionaries, this either means that, like certain cells, I'm not mature or specialized OR that I'm not significantly different.
Plus, of course, if I want to identify as transgender I have to be fully transitioning from one binary gender to another (spoilers: I'm not) and give up on identifying as a binary gender (don't get to be male or female).
Other old cultures who were not blinded by false moral ideas had already understood that #homosexuality and #transgender have their natural place and function in society.
