Anyone remember Thinkgeek? I miss that place! I used to actually work at one of their shipping places in college. Anyone know of an equivalent to that these days?

Remember back when Thinkgeek would announce a bunch of fake products every April Fool's Day and some of them were so popular that they actually ended up as real products? That was fun.

@joeyh@octodon.social I still have some of my VA stuff, and yah, they held up pretty damn well. Same for the #Thinkgeek stuff (my "/DEV/NULL" t-shirt still looks only mildly worn, and I wear it often).

Fun fact about the #StarWars #HanSolo in Carbonite shower curtain that I got from #ThinkGeek (RIP) — he was planning for a fun night before he got frozen based on what he was packing in his pocket!

I never noticed until some guests pointed it out years later! 😂
