It’s been a hot minute, but we’re back! AI hasn’t taken over our podcast after all (gotta love April Fools 🃏😜), and we’re wrapping up Series 4, "The Great Unknown", to close out 2025 with five new episodes. Still in the AI vein, but this time with a 'Vibe Coding' focus. Starting this week (Nov. 12, 2025) and dropping every Wednesday until Dec. 10, 2025.
Government-issued verifiable digital credentials (mDLs, digital passports, etc) have the potential to transform our online (and even IRL) experiences dramatically, and for the better. But with any such technology, their power and ease-of-use also runs the risk of being used in ways that aren't optimal, intended, or even appropriate. That's why I love that the Better Identity Coalition is working on a voluntary Code of Conduct for verifiable digital credentials aimed at preventing overuse. They're looking for feedback and comments, so please take a look and help shape the VDC ecosystem.

Here is the Revit Splash page I use in my projects for contract #BIM / #VDC work - It is simple flat shapes and text to be modified when inserted into a project. I spent quite a bit of time on the layout to make sure the font size was good. The lower right hosts a company logo, for the client so it reminds me. The large window can hold a 3D or plan view or any image to summarize the project visually, or even just more text of course.
Fun Fact- though I work for a large company and use the latest Autodesk products consistently there, just like a mechanic with a broken car, roofer with a leaky skylight, I just upgraded to using Revit 2023. Yes, 23. LOL I have addins and other crap I use in my workflows, and it was time to purchase those upgrades. Kicker and reason-- Revit is NOT backwards compatible!!!!!!!!!

The First Public Working Draft of the W3C Digital Credentials API is now published 🎉
Working on Soft-Sprites on the VDC-Chip. Works on a byte-level already, the cyan pixels show that work on the pixel level is still needed (2 pixels per byte in this case).
Rendering these 10 soft-sprites in a basic-loop takes about 9 jiffies at 2 MHz.

Un jour je dirigais un chantier jor je faisais les plans et tout, c’était pour reconstruire un encos d’animaux un truc sérieux avec des poteaux en métal de 3m que je devais souder et scellé dans du béton, avec de l’électricité qui passe dessus et tout, fallait que tout soit super precis. Sauf que dans ma tête les mètres ct comme les heures: 60cm=1m et 60mm=1cm… le bordel… je m’en suis rendu compte un peu avant de les poser j’ai fait comme si de rien était et enft c’est passé #vdc
@rapidugo ok vas y j’ai une grosse anecdote de conne, quand j’avais genre 17 ans j’ai du faire une échographie pelvienne et j’avais pas capter ce que c’était je croyais que c’était comme les écho normale et au moment où le medecin m’a demandé d’enlever ma culotte je lui ai dis “désolé je suis pas épilée” mdrrr grosse conne over here #viedeconne #vdc
