On covid afterfumes last week, I almost started to refactor one business critical integration for better performance.
Luckily I remembered these words of wisdom: Never refactor unless you really need to.
It took me maybe an hour and some to get the perf upgrade done now that the flu is not fucking up my brain. The integration itself has taken approx 60hrs.
