@LauraThompson @mastadon HOWEVER, since Twitter is an American company - and a Californian one at that - enforcement actions ordered by judges here will cover all their employees, not just US ones. I think California law regarding what WE call layoffs are more stringent than the UK.

And there will be legal actions. There's one VERY interesting one regarding #accessibility already - cos he laid-off the majority of that team - and the law says #witter must enforce accessibility laws.
