I didn't bring the umbrella from the car in jersey bc I thought the sun was out now, etc. On my way from Port Authority home in the rain, this wonderful young woman also walking north on ninth offered to share her umbrella, seeing me using my face shield to protect my head.

The nice man at the Big Apple Meat Market the other day said there was no price on the chicken wings yet but he'd sell them to me for $5.99 a pound so I bought a half pound and I see today they ended up at $8.99 a pound - I love New Yorkers, I love New York.
