The typographic term for what most folks think of as a font is "typeface".

A typeface is the collection of sizes, weights, styles, and other variants, that the glyphs in the set might come in. Times New Roman, Calibri, Noto Sans, etc. are typefaces.

The exact combination of a size, weight, style, etc. is a "font". 10pt Tahoma, 24pt Georgia Italic, etc. are all fonts.
