An office space in a nuclear bunker. Equipped with desks and desk chairs, a decoding machine, an old tv, rotary phone and several typing machines and (I'm assuming) super secret communication devices. Filing cabinets are spaced along the green and grey walls.

Round vault doors in Germany's Government Bunker. 1,5m thick, a 3m diameter, capable of closing in 10 seconds (or 30 minutes by hand 😱) and shutting out any nuclear blast and fallout...Or so they thought at the time, as it turns out, not so much. Still very imposing!

A room in an underground bunker with linoleum floors, fluorescent lights and a very Fallout/Star Trek looking instrument panel that covers the whole back wall. It has lots of dramatic looking buttons and old CRT security screens. There are clocks on the wall that show the different time zones. The biggest clock is set to 5 minutes to 12.

Lemon the cat on my desk, she elegantly draped herself over my lower arm while my hand is on the keyboard. There is absolutely no way this is comfortable for her and she is cutting off blood flow to my hand, but that is the price I have to pay for not immediately giving in to her demands for attention. She's trying to look casual and natural. She's failing miserably.

@Lojie I'm just glad I managed to catch him and get him to people who can help. I really hope they are able to fix his wing and release him back to his family.

This morning my husband told me about a jackdaw in the backyard who didn't fly away when he got near. I thought that was strange because they're usually pretty skittish. But then I went into the garden and found out why. The poor little guy had an injured wing and could no longer fly.

I managed to capture him and brought him to a wildlife rescue center where he will be looked after and hopefully cured.
