Unfortunately the tiny watercolor palette I was gifted broke. However, it reignited my love for painting, so I’d say it did its job.
Below is the hand easel/tiny palette my dad and I made to replace it.

Sketched this hat while waiting in the car; painted it later. It’s meant to be mostly a value study. What I learned was I have a ways to go in understanding value, lol.
I felt the black ink was too bold for the tiny paintings, so I bought some brown. While I’m not ecstatic with this painting, I am happy with the brown line work. Also, since I bought new ink, I of course had to buy a new brown pen to go with it, lol.

I was gifted a mini watercolor kit, so I’ve been doing mini paintings.
Just a quick, little sketch today.
Here’s what I’ve been doing with those junkyard car sketches! You can get yourself a shirt like this on my eBay store ( https://ebay.us/m/7KPMkw ). They come in 5 different car variations, 6 colors, and 9 sizes (xs-5xl).
Each sketch was hand drawn by me with a fountain pen, then professionally printed on tshirts.
Head over to my ebay shop if you like cars, sketchy art, and/or want to support a trans artist!
Sketched up a mountain landscape today. Started with the colors then added details with my fude fountain pen.
Finished that sketch. Working on how to color loosely using colored pencils.
Current wip
Some cityscape sketches.
Last in the junkyard car series! Stick around to find out what I do with these sketches!

I've just been playing creating a Gimp 2.10 plugin to let me make 8 page zines from a single sheet of paper. The plugin lets you choose the paper size. It then resizes the images automatically and places them in the right place.
The image below shows what the result looks like. When printed from a full size copy, you can print it, create a single cut and then fold it into an 8 page zine.
I can't add the full size zine as it's too big for Mastodon. If you like making these types of zines, you can grab the plugin from https://github.com/henspace/gimpPlugins
You can find the full size images on my other site at https://www.henspace.com/p/zine-maker.html
Made a #zine today about something that's been a going thing for quite a few weeks/months, even before the "I would like to make this" phase --
It's about a tiny raspberry bush at a bus stop, and how it's gotten me thinking.

The first link is a single-pages pdf. The second is formatted -- print double-sided, cut the stacked pages in half, put the half with covers on top, fold, staple.
@smashedratonpress Yes indeed! Both of my solarpunk zines are available as PDFs at my website (plus how-to-fold video), and I made a TikTok of the How to Solarpunk one so you can see it in action (plus a surprise visit from my cat Techy!).
why not pre-order this book? disclaimer: I wrote a tiny part of it.
"An Encyclopedia of Radical Helping," Edited by Erin Segal, Chris Hoff, and Julie Cho
Already working on my second zine. It’s a brief, slightly depressing, illustrated perzine about my relationship with various Judaica items I own.
#OnThisDay in 2016 I finished this portrait that's the size of a business card. You can see the making of the painting here: https://gwennseemel.com/blog/2016/0919-details/
