Doing a #Discworld re-read this year — first time in decades for some of them. (That in itself makes me feel old.)

Two down, thirty-nine to go. Not sure I’ll be able to sustain the one-a-week pace for the whole series though.

Colour of Magic/Light Fantastic are not my favourites but although TCoM doesn’t really feel much like the later books LF seems like a noticeable improvement stylistically.

What makes humans different from all other creatures on the planet is not language, or mathematics, or science. It is not religion, or art, or politics, either. All those things are mere side effects of the invention of #story
