At the Minnesota State Fair tonight stumbled into an “alpaca and llama costume contest” and it was the best thing ever. Dolly Parton won, but my favorites were the bathtub rubber ducky and Wednesday Addams with Cousin It.

A llama dressed up as Dolly Parton with a guitar and everything. The handler is also dressed like Dolly and carting a costume cart

A pile of #sewing!

This is a reversible jacket, with #embroidery on the brown side, grey reverse. Embroidery is custom for this jacket. It's inspired by the #Japanese #hanten, which is a quilted winter coat. This jacket, with two layers of denim, is not quilted.

This was a wonderful collaboration with the embroidery artist, and I look forward to being able to do more projects with her in the future.

@john The restaurant owners looked so puzzled that he didn’t like it. We had to get him prawn cutlets later. Just to make him happy.

@john but they won’t be catering to rural people anymore? Delivering from a centralized warehouse means longer wait times for those who live in the country.

The Bureau of Meteorology was not joking around with their storm warning. It's absolutely sharting down out there, there's lightning every four or five seconds, and there's a constant rolling of thunder.
