@wannabemystiker I haven't grown my own hops and have only brewed with home-grown once with a fellow homebrewer... That being said, we did our bittering with store bought and did late additions with the fresh due to the unknown alpha acids.
Announcing: https://justaqrcode.com.
Tired of "free" QR code generators that are full of ads and trackers, that share your data, and that want to sell you something? Me too. Here's my act of resistance: I made a one-page site that works entirely in your browser to generate a simple QR code. And that's all it does. You can download the HTML page and run it locally, even. Read the source; nothing up my sleeves. Just a QR code.
My offer to you -- I will continue to pay for the domain name and web hosting for it, myself. If you find it valuable, you can pay it back by creating your own useful thing for the world and releasing it for free. Let's take back the friendly web, one vexingly-monetized utility at a time!

Homebox (from @sysadminszone ) looks like the simplified inventory management system I've been looking for for years! Been (trying at) using Snipe-IT for quite a while, but it's just too powerful and complicated a solution for home use. Haven't given it a go yet, but will install it and let the folks out there know how it goes!
OIDC integration looks like it's coming soon as well which is great!
@brudibrau agreed!!

@killyourfm good luck and be safe!! Can't wait to follow along thru your blog. Enjoy!
@killyourfm Fuckin 'Merica .... (He said as one suffering from living here) 😞
@killyourfm I'm not happy about paying $80-90 for a physical game... But this was my exact thought after the announcement. Like what has been consistently priced like that for that long.
@ironicbadger looks great!
Saturday morning: woke up to all my tech being down because my UPS died (because I never installed the replacement batteries I order) so I:
* Replaced the batteries
* Updated Opnsense
* Updated TrueNAS core
* Updated Proxmox
Not a bad start to my weekend on the #homelab front! #selfhosted
Congratulations to Gints Zilbalodis and the entire Flow film crew for the Academy Award win!
Flow is the manifestation of Blender’s mission, where a small independent team is able to create a story that moves audiences worldwide.
Thank you for the shout out! 🧡 #b3d
@awfulwoman saving this for when I need to look at a replacement. Thanks for sharing!
Study after study also shows that AI assistants erode the development of critical thinking skills and knowledge *retention*. People, finding information isn't the biggest missing skillset in our population, it's CRITICAL THINKING, so this is fucked up
AI assistants also introduce more errors at a high volume, and harder to spot too
