After two days shooting news events, I needed something different. Got a few wildlife shots today around Four Mile Run in Arlington. This bird I'm told is a red-winged blackbird, female of the species.

On Thursday, we visited the Wakodahatchee Wetlands, a bird sanctuary at nesting season in Palm Beach County, Florida. Plenty of wood storks, egrets, herons, and other species I've never heard of, plus a couple of nasty-looking gators. Here's a snowy egret at its nest with eggs.
