We're thrilled to announce we're launching a crowdfunding campaign for our #PeerTube mobile app!
With your help, our aim is to put PeerTube in everyone's pocket!
To do so, we want to focus on 4 goals that you can discover on our dedicated website: https://support.joinpeertube.org
I have posted a video of my latest demo of my #Amiga email program AMail.
Version 0.0.3 can talk to my local IMAP server and send email via SMTP. Still a LOT to go but progress.
I wanted to share and hope you enjoy!
@edwintorok Being able to hover over the logic diagram and see exactly what parts of the code match which logic has been very useful. Running it locally requires Yosys in your PATH and NodeJS (I'm using 20).
@thezoq2 I know, right? This has turned "write some C-like code and get real confused as to why synthesis now takes 20x as long" to "OH, I see what it's trying to do!"
OK this is pretty cool. A project called DigitalJS can give you a visual layout of all of the logic that'll go into a Verilog design, using Yosys to do the generation. Being able to see what's being ultimately produced helps me, a much more visual person, understand when I've flubbed something that generates too much logic. I already optimized one piece of the display RAM using it. It's at https://digitaljs.tilk.eu/ but you can also run it locally. #fpga #verilog #ulx3s
@gloriouscow I started with this board and the accompanying tutorials and book: https://nandland.com/the-go-board/
By the time I was done, I was pretty comfortable hooking up basic electronics to the GPIO pins, like LEDs and the like. The one I use now, the ULX3S, can do way more stuff than the Go Board, though I haven't explored it all yet. Both programmable with FOSS tools like Yosys.
I managed to get a 6502 CPU running on the ULX3S and wrote a 16 color indexed display RAM module for it. The CPU also has access to all the buttons and the LEDs, which are counting up the current low byte of display RAM. Its the most complex bit of Verilog I've written so far. I hope to add basic sound support next, and then I'll have made my own little toy console to mess with. #ulx3s #fpga #6502CPU
We could have had this, folks.
It was bound to happen next but after moving off Twitch (again!) I now moved away from YouTube (again!).
I knowβ¦ I guess Iβm having fun and thatβs the most important.
Come check out My Tube for all things #Amiga, #AnaloguePocket and #DJ related.
We've done it.
We've closed on the building.
Bloop is moving to the Pittsburgh area.

RIP Gail Wellington, Commodore Software Products Manager and "mother of CDTV". She was also a technical writer and helped write various Commodore/Amiga product manuals. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/gail-wellington-obituary?id=58418580
@tilton ...Mittens?
Also he was great in the Bond movies.
@DeltaWye I've used B&H with great success. I occasionally get parts from Micro Center as well.
@keirFox Have fun!
There are many floppy disk image visualizers, but there aren't any others I know of that let you play Floppy Disk DJ.

@Isolectra That's super cool! I never really used Sun hardware as a desktop environment. My first real web development was on an Ultra 5 running as a server with Perl and MySQL.
