@pencilears @noondlyt I remember having to go to the thrift store a few times when I was a kid. Wow I can’t speak to how the clothes looked, they did feel nice and new. And my mom was able to get a lot for only a little bit of money.

I'm relatively thrifty for two reasons:

1. Raised medium-poor, so we had to make do. Spent most of my adult life also making do.

2. Raised by a Yankee (my dad) who comes from a culture where thrift and ingenuity is how you show off how smart you are.

@Pawpower I actually know a friend who that happened to. She was very unhappy with the dog. But in truth, she probably should’ve kept her weed in a drawer or somewhere where the dog couldn’t get to it. They had just picked up the dog the day before, and the dog get it on the second day. But I asked her what happened to the dog afterwards, they returned the dog kinda not the dog’s fault really it’s kind of hers

OK so I had this weird random what if scenario. Came up with it about 10 minutes ago. Let’s say somebody grew a beard and it was their first time growing one. Can you imagine the shock that they would feel if they reached up to feel their beard and discovered that their beard was literally as sharp and as prickly as Needles on a cactus plant? I think they would be screwed in a couple of ways, they would always have to shave they would never be able to not shave. I mean if someone like a family member or their mom and dad or significant other want to kiss them on the cheek, it would be a very unpleasant experience for that person. Just saying.
