@InfoDumpTruck I didn't follow this story. He is suspected of a murder of a CEO. Maybe Bryan Thompson was an asshole, I don't know (I'm french, so a bit far from all this stuff).
Why is he a hero? What did Thompson?
Massive #protests against #corruption, #kleptocracy and #russian interference today in #Belgrad, #Budapest and #Bucharest.
#Europe is waking up!
Do you know a #language that allows you to mock a public method of the currently tested class in #unittest ?
I mean in #cpp ... I'm testing "method1" that calls "method2" (both are public), and then I must test both of them in the same unittest? It looks ugly. It may be nice to #mock this "method2", even if it's part of the class under test. Right? 🤔

「 Some Google Calendar users are angrily calling the company out after noticing that certain events like Pride month are no longer highlighted by default. Black History Month, Indigenous People Month, Jewish Heritage, Holocaust Remembrance Day, and Hispanic Heritage have also been removed, according to a Google product expert 」

A Thinkpad without Linux support out of the box isn't a Thinkpad, it's just a expensive toy.
Sometimes I don't know how to describe myself.
Am I a software engineer, a software developer, or a bug hunter? 🤔
I had to buff my own headlights the other day for the first time and let me tell you what. The results were so satisfying.

Over 200 million women worldwide, including at least 600,000 in Europe, have undergone female genital mutilation.
The EU supports our partner countries and the United Nations in efforts to eliminate this heinous form of violence.
On International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM, let’s be clear: FGM must be universally condemned, and eradicated.
We condemn and are committed to eradicating the practice, promoting zero tolerance with our global partners.
Female genital mutilation must end now.

Linux 6.14 with Rust: “We are almost at the ‘write a real driver in Rust’ stage now”
With the Linux 6.13 kernel, Greg Kroah-Hartman described the level of Rust support as a "tipping point" for Rust drivers with more of the Rust infrastructure having been merged. Now for the Linux 6.14 kernel, Greg describes the state of the Rust driver possibilities a
FINALLY ACHIEVED MY DREAM OF OWNING A LINUX PHONE.
The Pixel 3A arrived today so @AmyIsCoolz helped me install @postmarketOS on it. 😅
It works absolutely well - I'll be mainly using this for my Denaro / Spending records. It's AMAZING!
Oh boy!
I wish for an international educational standard regarding software development to ensure every graduated developer have the same knowledge especially on code design and good practices.
The lack of knowledge on these topics is damaging so much the companies code bases... 😞
I'm working with both Indian and Swiss teams, and some of them are sooo messy in their work!
