A strategic European choice! Denmark has just selected the Franco-Italian SAMP/T air defense missile system over the American Patriot for an amount of 7.8billion€. The Patriot had been the favorite, but the sharp deterioration in relations with the US changed the situation. Let’s hope that this pro-European Danish decision (after the cancellation of the Spanish F-35 project) marks the beginning of a broader movement in Europe. Our future depends on it
