@jake4480 failure to comply means the employer owes one paycheck to the applicant.
Businesses should be required by law to send acceptance AND rejection letters for interviews, once a position is filled. Not even feedback, just yay or nay at a minimum. If a company can't fucking figure out how to auto-send an email with a binary decision, you shouldn't be allowed to hire employees to your business
Maybe if they gave him the prize in the first place he would have chilled out and things would be better.
@losttourist @CStamp Who says flags have no meaning? The Israeli flag is unequivocally one of the bad ones (up there with the Confederate battle flag, Rhodesia, Thin Blue Line, etc), but I'm talking about the signs that caption the flag with the phrase "We stand with Israel!" I agree that Israel doesn't represent Jews or Judaism and I believe that it's antisemitic to insist that it does, but when you put that sign up, that's a choice. It's a bad message to constantly show your neighbors.
@losttourist @CStamp If someone thinks that a Palestinian flag is antisemitic or that a rainbow flag is anti-Black, isn't that kind of their problem?
I'm not looking for loopholes. There's a synagogue in my neighborhood with these signs up and I will be leaving them alone regardless. I'm just wondering about how we should feel and react to blatant Zionism and other bigotry in our communities.
@losttourist @CStamp what if it was something non-racist or non-antisemitic, like a rainbow flag or a Palestinian flag?
@losttourist @CStamp As I said, I don't believe that vandalizing a synagogue (or any place of worship) is a good idea. However, if an organization explicitly states that it is zionist, that says something about its members, right? What if a church puts up a sign that says "God hates fags" or something like that?
The author of a viral Reddit thread alleging fraud at a food delivery company tried to back up his claim by sending me AI-generated documents. Today I'm publishing those documents in the hopes that it helps other reporter see what we're up against in the age of AI https://www.platformer.news/fake-uber-eats-whisleblower-hoax-debunked/
@CStamp I don't think that kind of vandalism is helpful in any case, but how should it be read when a synagogue still has 'I/we stand with Israel' yard signs posted?

@allgonesideways i found myself in a rather narrow urinal stall today and it was surprisingly comforting. #HappyNewYears
The urinal partitions hug me snuggly like Temple Grandin's squeeze chute.
if you're a jorts dot horse poster in the northern hemisphere, then it's your birthday today

@cdarwin can people check out documents before the closure to archive them (one way or another)?
