Just watched #MICKEY17 (#BongJoonHo, 2025) via Regal. So far two thing stood out to me clearly: love conquers all, and be nice to animals. The characters and the relationship are well written especially 17, 18, Nasha. I expected better, but I'm glad it exists and I enjoyed it.

BlueSky made me forgot I have this, but I’m never getting over my November holiday trip to #WashingtonDC. The #KennedyCenter Concert Hall chandeliers are pure art. This year was a very productive one for me as far as being in touch with real life, and I’ll miss it and DC. 🥲

Very few movies spotlight Jascha Heifetz as a featured musician - so when this man who called Carnegie Hall home crossed paths with Hollywood, we're fortunate that such movies like CARNEGIE HALL and THEY SHALL HAVE MUSIC exist... ultimately, his greatness is always ever present and captured on every media, art form he graced, however you want to appreciate his musicianship.

If you haven't watched Nathan Kroll's #JaschaHeifetz Master Class series you SHOULD and pair it up with your favorite Heifetz movie!! Their print is a vast improvement that the student's techniques are clear to see and Heifetz's hands-on guidance seems justified. Catch it on the Criterion Channel while you can. I'd love to add it to my hypothetical #Criterion closet

Was seated today, and LOVED #BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE! #CatherineOHara is something else. She’s a natural in the comedic elements. #MichaelKeaton still got it. #JennaOrtega surprised me: she says what I’m thinking, essentially, and she is supposed to be the more grounded Deetz. #WinonaRyder evokes someone you may know who was once directionless, hanging out with the wrong people, but has sincere intention of goodness. Really solid cast, fun, and like a well written Symphony. Thank you #TimBurton

Ecstatic. Can’t wait for #TimBurton ‘s #BeetlejuiceBeetlejuice (don’t say one more?). It’s so heartwarming to see #WinonaRyder back on the big screen…. 😭😭❤️

Right after plaging Fallout 3, I gave #FalloutNewVegas a chance. I was taken aback by how lively the unique characters are and so many possible outcomes that affect side quests and all of that. I played all DLCs, and the one I really liked was Dead Money and Honest Hearts, mostly for the Classic Hollywood mythos homage, and the beauty of Zion Canyon. I now understand why it seems to be well liked A LOT.

Something to make up for the radio silence:
-I’ve been more involved in student clubs and acclimated to a more demanding university. Some IRL friends were made. None of the gloom like the internet.
-Mental health might play a part in this: sometimes it’s better to step away for a while…

And there’s a Winona Ryder starred B movie DVD at a superstore. Watched it on VOD. it’s not remarkable, BUT it’s adequately entertaining. I am very tolerant of hastily made movies… Very. 🤭

p.s. I love Winona in Girl Interrupted (watched it several years ago). it's a sincere memoir put to screen and there are very few ways for me to describe my sentiments. The phrase is "I feel for her", isn't it?

On to 2010s and now and she's put Kate Bush back on the charts because she reportedly said Running Up That Hill should be in a Stranger Things episode SET in 1986. I could easily envision Winona working in media preservation.
