Aqara zigbee door and window sensor with external switching modification. Handy of them to add the DI contacts, but it's tight soldering in there. Reed switch has been removed. Now it's just a generic switch sensor. Works good.

Once again I am reading in Forbes and the BBC and broadsheet sites that fans are 'horrified' by the 30 second Shrek 5 trailer because the design is imperceptibly different from the original from 30 years ago. Do they cite these horrified people? No they do not. Fortunately The Independent gets to the root of this story which has made headlines across the Internet.
“Eyo why does Shrek look so old,” one fan questioned on X. “What’s up with their faces?” a second noted.
This is news now. Someone said eyo why shrek old on a far right media platform full of bots and it has been widely reported as some of the biggest news of the day. I don't know why I don't have a job as a journalist. I am capable of making stuff up. Reports are coming in that scientists have said contemporary dance can save the world. It was me. I said it. And I did food science at school. There. News. Pay me.

I mentioned in the beginning, that Perseverance captured more than 26.000 images during the landing. Last year I processed ALL OF THEM to make a complete remastered video of the landing.
Thanks again to @TheSeaning who helped me with the editing and rendering.
I don't think we need billions of people here. I already have all the content I need, and no one can keep up with everything anyway. The idea that social media requires a 'critical mass' is just another false narrative pushed by commercial social media corporations and their users.
I'm happy for everyone who joins the Fediverse, but for me, the value of the Social Web lies in other things - not in sheer numbers.
@Xzan You asked for zigbee, but here's a strong wifi recommendation anyway (#ESPHome compatible) -
https://apolloautomation.com/products/air-1
- has additional modular sensor options (rare!). Sensirion inside. The SEN55 is excellent quality, been using those for years. Support and communication from Apollo were excellent. Highly recommend them. Love my MTR-1 (also with modular sensor options). I don't know who else offers such things (esp for Zigbee), never found them (hence the wifi suggestion).
