A person on the Internet.
Life is short. I wonder why it is so complicated to configure #neovim. Why not providing a set of ready to use plugins out of the box ? Why having to choose a plugin manager, browse the web to find github of needed plugins ? I ended up asking chatgpt how to setup neovim, and then discovered there was a problem somewhere...

This is Andrew. He runs the shelter, pays no rent and still expects treats and room service. Iconic. π±

I've spent *plenty* of time doing web searches trying to troubleshoot issues with Windows systems.
The biggest difference, imo, is that more people have those same problems, so most errors are easier to find out in the wild.
I've seen this kind of thing happen before. It's usually when someone is managing their software via GNOME Software. I uninstalled all packages related to this application. :)
Really happy to learn you got it sorted out. Good work!
@ArchPenguin @tokyo_0 @abhijith @fossunleashed @llutz @zenbrowser @jrredho Yes. Thank you for the feedback. I have already solved the issue.

flatpak remove flathub app.zen_browser.zen
in your terminal should do the trick
@jrredho @tokyo_0 @abhijith @fossunleashed @llutz @zenbrowser Yes, I had two folders of #ZenBrowser in `~.var/app/` folder. One named "app.zen_browser.zen" and another "io.zen_browser.github".

This is looking to me to be the root of the issue. It is very likely that you had Zen Browser installed twice, once via the RPM repos and once via flatpak, say.
If there was some strange conflict over what, possibly binary, cache or database file written by one version and it was no, uh, grokable, by the other, then *boom* a problem would occur.
Also curious: What are the mount options for this device in /etc/fstab?
@javalps To be honest the troubleshooter doesn't always help in Windows β I spent several months earlier in the year watching my PC try to install a Windows update on every shutdown or reboot because (it turned out) Microsoft had set the permissions incorrectly on a folder it was trying to update. But in general, things are less demanding in lots of ways. Am really glad you managed to isolate the problem and eliminate it (fingers crossed!) π€ @abhijith @fossunleashed @llutz @zenbrowser @jrredho

After the setup I configured the settings, browsed the web. #ZenBrowser was working like it used to and the FS didn't go haywire.
Finally, it fixed it.
I think this meme (see the image) suits me. In #windows, you've the troubleshooter but on #linux, you're the troubleshooter.
