Urgent help for OpenPrinting needed!

As many here know, I am co-founder and lead of OpenPrinting since 2001, known as the print guru for Linux and free software by many. I also got one of the 8 fellows of the Linux Foundation for this.

Up to now I was working at Canonical, hired back in 2006 just to run OpenPrinting and also to maintain printing-related Ubuntu packages.

I would like to see an initiative that evaluates messaging services that promise encryption and document the findings. For example, a service may claim that emails are encrypted and secure. However, if the secret keys are managed on infrastructure controlled by the service without further protection, there are limitations, and I wouldn't call it end-to-end encryption. I think it would be useful to have a neutral web page where users could lookup the security levels of services (or apps).

When you're watching a Star Trek episode, and at its end, three people get together at a table in a bar, and the camera slowly zooms away without further explanation, and you understand what it means, and you get goosebumps and a positive warm feeling, I guess the director has done everything right.

Wenn offensichtlich die Grünen und die SPD Recht hatten damit, dass die Schuldenbremse aufgeweicht werden muss, und deren Zustimmung nun für die geplanten Gesetzänderungen des Wahlgewinners nötig sind, dann sollten diese Parteien eine erneute Chance bekommen, stärker im neuen Bundestag vertreten zu sein. Und die Wähler sollen neu bewerten, ob die CDU so stark unterstützt werden sollte, wenn sie Ihre Versprechen brechen will.

Wenn die CDU ein zentrales Wahlversprechen bzgl. der #Schuldenbremse bricht , sollte es eine sofortige Wiederholung der #Bundestagswahl geben. Ganz unabhängig von der Weltpolitischen Lage sollte das fairerweise geschehen. Die Wähler verdienen es, auf Basis der neuen Fakten erneut entscheiden zu können. Was wäre nötig, um die Wiederholung zu erreichen? Und warum wurde das bisher noch von niemandem gefordert?
