The Flutter dev experience on Linux is... Shockingly good. I did not expect this. :)

My wife and I visited a tea shop shortly after we started dating. I found an amazing mug that was in the shape of a cow. The feet of the mug were udders. She declared it hideous and wouldn't let me buy it.

I told everyone that story the other day at Christmas.

Today my MiL gave this to me and told my wife she had to let me keep it because it was a gift.

In the early 2000's the Hall of Presidents opened as a tourist attraction featuring 17 ton concrete recreations of every president up to George W. Bush.

Anyway, that failed after about two years. So here I am standing in an industrial recycling center that let's the public in to view them once a year. These things are fascinating in their decay.

Every year we send out a handmade magnet instead of a Christmas card. When you tap your phone on it you're taken to a photo slideshow of our year in review. As I mentioned in another post, we celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary this year.

This is the 2023 magnet. My wife's last name is Burns and mine's Jones. So we've always joked that we're the "Bones Family". 😂 This is especially appropriate since we're dog people.

A handmade magnet. The back portion is shaped like a dog bone. Each corner of the bone has the silhouette of a family member. The upper right corner is my wife, the lower right hand corner is me. The other two corners are our dogs. In the middle is a big circle that says The Bones Family Five Years Established 2018. The magnet is made out of wood and the silhouettes are laser engraved. The center portion is sublimated in dar blue, light blue, and white.
