@MatthewToad42@climatejustice.social I am working with Hubert and Iana on a book where we combine their Critical Realism approach with Bourdieusian sociology which I think is useful to overcome a too individual and voluntaristic approach. In one chapter we interpret data from this article: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10 and relate it to the four planes of existence from CR. I do think this plane thinking is a good way towards overcoming calling everything 'complex' that has to do with degrowth transformtions.
