Despite the banana disaster earlier in the week I decided to get the camera out for this one.
Much happier with the results.
Couldn't decide between these three.

It remains absolutely wild to me that Jalopnik, of all things, has one of the most enlightened editorial views on car culture and windshield-perspective.
This is a blistering editorial that would get you fired from just about any mainstream newspaper for writing.

Starting to get excited about attending the Canadian Chemistry Conference in Vancouver this year in June. A chance to hear a Nobel Prize winner (Bertozzi!!), and learn about cutting edge mass spec/separation science doesn't come everyday. I hope the schedule comes out soon. #chemistry #YVR #uvic #CSC2023
It's actually bad luck to say MacBook inside an office. You have to call it 'the Scottish Laptop'
@QueerMatters other autistic people in the school run support and discussion groups seemed to feel the same way. (Also in STEM).
@QueerMatters yes, in a lot of ways that honestly the pandemic accommodations alleviated. Having recordings allowed me to minimize environmental distraction, and focus on teaching; zoom classes allowed me to have cam off and not be worrying about people seeing me stim. Discussion groups could be typed into when I couldn't verbal well. My grades were night and day during oy online school.
One word change in the Canadian Anthem: instead of "our home and native land" to "our home on native land". Reconciliation in action; a step towards the Canada I want to live in.
A little early, but so I don't forget: ŚW̱,XELOSELWET Tiffany Joseph , a W̱SÁNEĆ knowledge carrier apprentice, is hosting a workshop on pollinators in September 2023: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/semsemiye-indigenous-pollinator-stories-tickets-465920529847?aff=erelexpmlt

To celebrate Valentine's Day, today I re-read Troy Sebastian's enjoyable piece for the Walrus: Art of the Snag. Troy is a Ktunaxa Nation writer, who is also a UVic doctoral candidate currently teaching UVic Writing course, "The Study of Narrative". #uvic #valentines #snag #indigenous
I could really do for some good spruce tip/traditional indigenous tea right now, but I'm out of my usual source. Anyone have a favorite online shop source to order? #indigenous #tea
I have the most cheerful and interactive bus driver today; it's nice seeing someone in their groove, and passing that good energy on. #smalljoys #yyj
