OK, here’s yet another very nice feature of @mirlo (feel like fanboying, tbh):
When you start playing an album, or a track even, on the bottom audio player an extra button appears that says, ‘Tip the artist’. When you click it, a popup gives you some options to send some money *just this once*. Isn’t that great? No need for a long-term commitment, just a one-off helping hand. Love it!

My fondness of @mirlo keeps growing. Just now, I realised that there are two ways to support any artist: you can simply follow them with your e-mail address, or become a subscriber who also sends some money their way.
We, the artists, can address those two groups in different ways; we can write posts that only go out to paying subscribers, others that also ‘mere’ followers can read, and finally the ones that anyone can see […]
