@raccoon@hollow.raccoon.quest is probably do longer stripes so each color is more pronounced. Or maybe do a modular thing where different blocks of single color are in different sections of the sweater

I’m cooking these beautiful domingo rojo beans from rancho gordo 😍. I’m boiling them know with onion, garlic, and jalapeño. Then I’ll make somewhat of a sofrito with bacon to the beans later and serve with a pork tenderloin.

A closer look at this shawl 💜. I love the fuzzy texture the boucle adds to this. I think the colors I chose to hold double work nicely together. I still have to block this so the lace texture should open up more.

Another shawl complete 💜. I made the first half purple with a neonish purple boucle and the second half grey and pink with a pastel purple/pink boucle. I love the fuzzy texture.

The pattern is Octave Shawl by Dee O’Keefe.

Hat complete! I used a different stitch to make different sized rectangles to make it look like patches. I held this variegated purple yarn held double with a tweed mohair. I love the result.
