As I've approached forty, for no apparent reason, I've become a bird person (human nature?), so on a whim I grabbed this book by @rosemarymosco.com. It arrived today, and I haven't gotten far, but I'll say this opening quote was worth the price alone

Still no painting as the painting space and brain are spread out with the hobby room reconfiguring, but some progress is being made.

This solution holds all my paint except a handful of inks and some SoFlats that are too big.

I'm quite happy with the big shoulder skull, and in some ways the back turned out better than the front 😬 (probably because it's simpler!)

I'll get some better photos eventually but we're in the midst of reorganizing the basement into a bigger hobby space, so this will do for now.

Sneaking and creeping in some progress on our teeny tiny tonk. Making a base! At this scale it feels easier to make everything diorama like, but then you just keep adding and... Etc!

Happy with the way this is going though, probably need to break things up as it's getting kind of muddy, but maybe the explosion plume will accomplish that?
