#Queer #redpanda #polyamorous public servant with a background in emergency management and environmental sustainability working in #water and #wastewater operations as an operator.
When I’m not playing with my #dogs, I can usually be found #gaming on #PC and #Switch, listening to #audiobooks, #furtographer, messing around on my #homelab or spending time with my partners.
May occasionally share NSFW stuff but will always hide them behind CWs.
Smugmug is just ridiculous at nearly $250 a year. I figure 3 years of hosting at that rate could net me a decent 2 bay Synology with a 28TB HDD.
Debating on the merits of building a rack server with bays for hdds versus just keeping my small thin client server and attaching a Synology to it and expanding my disk storage that way since I'm trying to save money long-term on hosting costs for photo hosting.
I'm lying here in bed getting cuddles and kind of want to reflect on my weekend at #Furggedaboutit2025...
So I think first of all, and something worth really emphasizing, was that #GSFTW was a litmus test for the #furry community and especially the #furry community in the US right now.
It asked us collectively if we were up to the task of tolerating our community spaces being eroded away and taken over by fascists and hate groups who want to see our most vulnerable parts of our community suffer or if we would take a stand and stamp out problematic aspects of our community. Tolerance vs Intolerance.
I'm proud to say that this community understood the assignment. #GSFTW was held accountable by the community and the collective action to make a safe space in the wake of the dereliction of responsibility we place in #furcons to be a safe space was accomplished through #furgeddaboutit.
These are interesting times and the only way we will survive them is through strong, resilient communities.
This is from back when I was obsessed with fountain pens, fude nibs and ink drawings! I had fun sketching some crows/ravens and some pretty nature!
One of the downsides of working overnights is that your days become a little distorted and it's weird to be leaving and coming back to work in the same day.

I must really hate myself. I took two 12-hour shifts this weekend because they were short staffed at the plant but holy cow I am doing the best that I can to white knuckle it the best that I can.
Oops~ I forgot for a hot minute about Mastodon... It's been a wild couple of months though.
@PatrickQuin It can be intimidating but everyone is a good sport about photos! I was at #FurTheMore and did some photo shoots for the first time and that was a neat experience.
I need to go through the photos and touch them up before I push them to my website. Hopefully we can meet up next year!
Hey, dog here.
Roll your shoulders back and unclench your jaw.
Also a reminder to have a glass of water.
You're doing the best you can.

I think what I find the hardest part of my field is that there is no mastery, only experience. You can learn theory but then application becomes a whole different beast. So you can't really prepare for things such as power outages, finicky equipment, process adjustments, etc without a good amount of experience. Experience requires time. I'll be the first to admit that I'm probably the most impatient person when it comes to this.
Tonight has been interesting considering that there are only two of us and we had to shut down half the plant to allow us to focus on running what OPs we can with only two operators.
God #MyHeroAcademia has some of the best character growth of anything I've seen recently. I'm also getting back into audiobooks as well.
